These schools were given an internet connection on a low-cost or free basis, and assisted to set up income generating activities such as internet cafes and community training to add to school funds. They were provided with free training in computer user skills and teachers were taught how to use the internet to increase their knowledge of their given subjects.

An evaluation of Phase 1 was undertaken after 12 months July 2007 to June 2008, and the findings have informed the development of our plans for Phase 2, a roll-out to 100 schools.  Please use the 'Contact Us' form to request a copy of the Phase 1 Report.
